Like all mainstream carmakers, from time to time, Toyota was releases special edition versions of the Avensis to help spur sales for German market. Which is available on both the sedan and Combi (station wagon) variants of the Avensis and is based on the Life.
The standard equipment also includes 17-inch light-alloy wheels painted in black / silver, seat heating for driver and front passenger and a heated windshield wiper tray, and privacy glass for the rear and rear windows (Combi only).
The Combi can be complemented with exclusive special equipment beyond. The optionally available with a special “Business Package” for €1,000, includes the navigation system Toyota Touch & Go; kyview panoramic glass roof; anthracite Leder-/Alcantara-Ausstattung and the glass roof along with electric blind slats costs €900 charge.
The new Toyota Avensis Edition powered by the 2.2-liter D-CAT, with all engine and transmission variants. It starts with the 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 97 kW/132 hp and six-speed manual transmission.
Prices in Germany start from 24,850 euros ($32,200) for the Avensis Edition sedan and the Combi starts at 25,850 euros ($33,500). The customer benefit of the special model is up to 1,400 euros, and up to 1,750 euros from the added equipment.
